For breaking through the comment virginity! All the advice is very much appreciated. I am going shopping this Saturday with a friend and hope to find a look that will look good. My goal is to find some tall black boots to wear with my already owned black guachos. If that fails, I will have to get some pants (which finding them in talls is an experience) and some pumps. Then perhaps find a sequin top and a little half sweater type thing to go over it. Its a semi formal party but have been told that people will be wearing pant suits as well as little black dresses. I do not feel comfortable wearing a little black dress so this is my alternative. Plus it wouldn't be very little 'cuz I'm wearing. Thats is my goal on Saturday. We will see how that goes.

Tomorrow I go back to the big city to meet with the Dr. to get my medical checks back. Hopefully everything looks fine and we can proceed with the immigration. I am more worried about driving back in rush hour traffic than the actual physical and visit. The apt is late in the afternoon which means I will be a prime candidate to meet with early Friday night rush hour on the freeway. I tried to bribe J out of a half day of work but he doesn't have it so he can't use it. He did say he would stay and wait on me so I could follow him home. Um, not sure that will be much help since the last time I tried to follow you (Kenley's bday experience) I got lost and found a free bed which you would not let me get. Tomorrow afternoon will be interesting!!
